Andy Mycock's life has been punctuated by friends and strangers making comments about his unfortunate surname. Daily acts such as phoning the bank or meeting new people are both hilarious and fraught. His ‘funny’ surname has impacted his job (Dr Mycock), meeting a partner and even naming his pet cat.

After a string of sell-out shows across the North of England and Scotland, and a BBC Radio 4 programme, Andy is bringing his show to Huddersfield!! He presents a comedic lecture (à la Dave Gorman) about living with his surname, drawing on a lifetime of hilarious material and anecdotes. Andy also considers the British public's affection for the cock (phallic not fowl). Join him as he goes on a personal journey to learn to love Mycock.
